Course description
This OFSTED compliant two day (12 hour) course is intended for those who work in an Early Years setting such as nurseries, child minders, nannies, Foster carers, playgroup leaders, Children Centre employees and those working towards their child care qualifications.
The course meets the standard required by OFSTED and EYFS and on successful completion the candidate will be qualified to respond to a situation whereby an infant or child is ill or injured.
For those who do not need to attend a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid course such as parents, baby sitters, voluntary workers then we can adapt it to your requirements and can deliver the training over, either 4 or 6 hours.

Certification
SM Safety Training will provide an OFSTED and EYFS compliant and QNUK HSE approved Paediatric First Aid certificate on successful completion of the course. This will enable candidates to perform the role of First Aider at your setting for three years. If choosing the nationally recognised Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid on successful completion your certificate will be issued by an Ofqual regulated QNUK.
