Who are CITB and what do they do?
The Construction Industry Training Board also known as “CITB” is the national accreditation body recognised by Build UK, formerly the UK Construction Group (UKCG), and Major Housing Building Group (MHBG). The CITB accredits the Site Safety Plus Scheme, which provides construction, civil engineering, and related industries with a variability of CITB course designed to help maintain a safe workforce throughout.

Online SMSTS - Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
This SMSTS course will give an understanding of a delegate’s responsibilities and accountability for site safety, health and welfare, and current health and safety legislation. This industry-recognised course is ideal for companies who need to meet the ever-increasing demand for evidence of sound health and safety management on site.
This is a 5 day online course.
Online SSSTS - Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme
The SSSTS course is a two day site safety training course and designed for those who are about to take on, or already have, supervisory responsibilities. It is an ideal foundation for junior managers wanting to develop a basic understanding of their health and safety duties and responsibilities in construction work.
This is a two day online training.
HSA - Health & Safety Awareness
This one day online HSA training course. This can be for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry. The course gives delegates an awareness of health and safety and how it affects their daily role. It can be used as preparation training for the CITB Health, Safety and environment test or as refresher training.
